According to § 18 of the statutes, the structure of the higher education institution consists of an academic structure and an administrative structure.
The academic structure is made up of centers, chairs, and departments. It is led by the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs.
Tallinn Health University of Applied Sciences is an internationally recognized state professional higher education institution offering training in the field of health and well-being. The UAS is in continuous development, nationally and internationally networked, where, in cooperation with national and international partners and involving learners, current challenges are addressed.

A student may participate in exchange studies at another higher education institution in Estonia or abroad, either simultaneously with their regular studies or during a semester(s) specifically planned for this purpose. A higher education student wishing to study at another Estonian or foreign institution for one or more semesters must submit an application in accordance with the regulations of their home institution (application forms are available on the institution's website).
